Income shifting legislation postponed
“The Government considered the responses received to the recent consultation and believes that a further period of consultation will ensure that the legislation in this area provides clarity and certainty for businesses and their advisers. The Government now intends to introduce legislation through Finance Bill 2009 and will not enact legislation effective from 6 April 2008.”
At the time of writing this article, a google search for Peter Hain results in the timesonline using Google AdWords.
Nothing strange in that, except for the fact the ad doesn’t take us to anything about Peter Hain, but instead leads visitors to an article about George Osborne!
Why would the Timesonline divert people trying to find out about Peter Hain to a story about George Osborne failing to declare?
Are they trying to divert attention from Peter Hain?

A point I have not seen raised anywhere yet is
regarding the tax evasion of the people David
Abrahams was using to make his donations.
When intervied on Radio 5Live yesterday in an
attempt to talk his way out of things he stated
that he gave the money to Ruddick and Kidd
and it was completely up to them what they did
with it.
Did Ruddick or Kid declare this as a “gift”
from what I read in a Guardian article, it appears they
have been receiving regular gifts from Abrahams
since 2003 in excess of £385,000
Who else has been receiving these “gifts”?
