Aquatic Control Engineering Ltd. was formed in 1995 as the UK agent for a leading manufacturer supplying weedscreen cleaners and weed maintenance machinery to the Environment Agency, Internal Drainage Boards and British Waterways. ACE still supplies these products and in 1998 introduced a range of water flow control equipment produced in Europe by the KWT Group and Wapro BV. The concept adopted by our manufacturers is to produce very low maintenance, reliable and efficient products, and ACE is the sole supplier for the products in the UK. The range includes penstocks, weir penstocks, flap valves and other non-return products, tilting weirs and automatic level control units. Wapro supply a range of innovative products for preventing flood damage to property as well as products to control flow velocity through drain systems. The manufacturers use modern materials to improve design and produce products for today''s very demanding market using materials such as Stainless Steel and HDPE.
