I would like to take this opportunity to introduce my business Shropshire Plastering Contractors and to tell you a little about my background. I personally have 15 years experience in all aspects of plastering and after initially training in Shropshire I have spent most recent years working in London. It was there that I gained my expertise which produces the standard of plastering delivered to customers today. Whilst in London I project managed the plastering aspect of a firm dealing with specialist clients that supplied high specification work. I moved back to Shropshire 6 years ago with my family and it was then that Shropshire Plastering Contractors was established. Since then work has taken us all over the country, this includes small domestic jobs to large commercial work. Venetian Plaster aka marble plaster, it dates back to the roman period. There are 6 different styles to choose from and any colour can be made, there are natural stones to choose from to, i.e portis stone, york stone etc It can be applied to walls and ceilings, the finishes can vary from a rough stone face effect to a highly polished glass effect, depending on the grade of marble used. If required i can use stencils, any design, very good if you want to promote your business name, if you have an idea, but you would rather see what it looks like first i can make a few sample boards up to choose from, on request. It is waterproof and hard wearing, and easily cleaned, good if you have kids about. Each piece is individual. overall thickness ranges from 2 - 3mm but gives the effect of an inch thick.
