Introduction to Little Acorns Pre-school Little Acorns offers full day care, incorporating pre-school, breakfast and after school clubs operating from a purpose built facility within the grounds of Penponds School. Fully qualified staff provide a fun, friendly, safe and stimulating environment for children to develop within. We are administered by elected pre-school governors, made up of parents and community representatives. The governors ensure that major decisions are in the hands of the people who use the group. Children are welcomed from 2 up to 11 years, with Government funded free sessions up to 15 hours per week for all 3 and 4 year olds (starting the term after their third birthday).
