We can help with your software problems. Internet Problems We would be happy to install your modem, set up or configure an ADSL (broadband) connection or help with any Internet or e-mail problems you may be having. Hardware Failures or Upgrades We install processors, memory, motherboards, hard drives, power supplies, graphics and sound cards, modems, CD/DVD drives, floppy drives, etc. We can supply replacement or upgrade components, or we can install components, which you have bought. PC Not Booting Your computer will not boot, there are error messages (blue screens) or it will only boot in ''Safe Mode''. These are common problems and our engineers are experienced in identifying the source of the problem and in restoring your computer system to perfect health. Network Maintenance Our engineers are experienced in the design, installation and configuration of networks (both peer-to-peer and server based) and in troubleshooting a wide variety of network and server related problems. Virus / Spyware Attacks Virus and spyware attacks are becoming more frequent and more serious. They can be amongst the hardest computer problems to deal with. You will need professional help to clear the virus and to repair the damage it may have done to your system. Business Services For business customers requiring on-going support for their office computers, we offer the option of purchasing Prepaid Support Hours. Available in blocks of 5, 10 or 20, Prepaid Support Hours are priced at a substantial discount from our standard hourly rate. Prepaid Support Hours are valid for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase and would give your business priority when booking an engineer visit. They form the ideal solution for any business that does not want to be committed to an expensive maintenance contract, but needs the reassurance of knowing that its IT support requirements are in the hands of an established and professional company. Our telephone lines are open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so if your business computers let you down, day or night, you can leave a voice message on 01964 775003 which will be emailed to our support desk, and we will contact you to discuss your issue. We do aim to contact you within 1 hour during the daytime, alternately you can call us for direct support between 09:30–18:30 on mobile number: 07511 871 908. We also act seamlessly on behalf of many other computer repair and maintenance companies, including Pc World & Mesh Computers, who make use of our locally based engineers to provide nationwide support, in areas where they have no local presence. We constantly review our charging structure to ensure that it remains as competitive as possible and always represents excellent value for money. If you live in East Yorkshire, or places including Bridlington, Grimsby, Hull, Beverley, Cottingham, Withernsea, Hornsea, Keyingham Hedon and other surrounding villages, we charge less for our services due to locality from our repair centre. Is there a call-out fee to pay? If your computer is beyond repair, or would take more than 1 hour to repair on-site, you have the option of having it taken for repair at our repair centre. This is a fixed fee of £139.99 (excluding new parts), But includes call-out, time on-site, and collection and delivery, also the time it takes to repair your system at our workshop. If you do not want your system repaired, a minimum charge for the call out, and the hour on site, diagnostic, is £54.99. For collections and delivery, the engineer will take your PC away with the installation and driver discs (if applicable.) We will return your computer as soon as possible via DHL or other couriers. Do you charge for traveling time? No. We do not charge for traveling time - only the time spent by the engineer working on your computer is chargeable. Are your engineers fully qualified? Our engineers are fully qualified and highly experienced. They are carefully selected and have all spent many years working in the computer industry. Which methods of payment do you accept? We accept payment by cash (hull & East Yorkshire Only), cheque (with guarantee card), and we also accept all major credit and debit cards. A full receipt will be given. Is your work guaranteed? Our work is fully guaranteed. All components are supplied new and are covered by a full twelve months return to base parts and labor warranty. Can I limit the booking to one hours'' work? Yes, you can choose to limit the booking to one hour and the engineer will do his very best to complete the work within the agreed time scale. If the repair takes only forty minutes, will I have to pay for a full hour? Our minimum charging period is one hour. If the repair is completed in less time than this, the engineer will offer to stay for the remaining time to carry out a general PC health check or a virus scan. Do you repair laptops? We carry out software related repairs to laptops, however, we do not repair laptop hardware failures. For laptop hardware failures, we recommend you to contact the manufacturer of your machine. Do you repair printers? We carry out software related repairs to printers - driver and/or installation problems, however, we do not repair printer hardware failures. Do you repair monitors? Unfortunately, we do not carry out repairs to monitors. For monitor hardware failures, we recommend you to contact the manufacturer or perhaps consult a television repair specialist.
