Inspired Counselling Services are based in the quiet village of Cullybackey in the Maine Business Centre. In a discreet corner office of a quiet building, it is perfect for counselling. It has a choice of stairs or a lift, and full disabled access. There is free car parking at the rear of the building, or in any of the other car parks situated close by. There is regular bus routes through Cullybackey, and the train station is only 5-7 minutes walking distance away, which makes it extremely accessible from Derry/Londonderry, Belfast or wherever you wish to come from. In the village there is a range of amenities including two coffee shops and a forest walk, giving you a choice before or after counselling. Counselling sessions are available daytime and evenings. Some clients come for over two years and some for six sessions, the choice is yours. I am Stephen McFarland and I got the name Inspired Counselling, after being inspired to train as a counsellor. Now I would like to inspire you to be the best you can be. I am a counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer 'one to one' integrative counselling, therefore bringing the best approaches and my best skills, to suit your personal needs. I also use mindfulness in some sessions if it helps my clients. Clients also frequently report making changes and moving on with confidence and strength of purpose Counselling /Pastoral Supervision I am a trained supervisor having obtained a Diploma in supervision with CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Award Body). I offer a supervision service to counsellors (either as individuals or groups), and my model is integrative. Currently I supervise counsellors with a range of theoretical perspectives including CBT. I also offer pastoral supervision within a broad Christian faith context. This provides support and a confidential space to explore the challenges and complexities that face pastors from whatever denomination or non-denomination they work within.
