The Community Seating Specialists The Seating Specialist at MossHealthcare is experienced with assessment, seating techniques and requirements. We have Worked within PCT trusts ,Hospital wards,Nursing homes and individual homes. Specifically, we have the experience to identify the orthopedic, neurological and skin needs of the recipient and determine the proper piece of equipment to meet the needs of the client. At MossHealthcare we teach the recipient and family how to use the equipment (specialist chair), and how to maintain it. Our Community Service is driven through a range of symptoms and conditions. The aim of the service is to provide a comprehensive community assessment service to adults and children either with a permanent disability or diagnosed conditions. Our service includes clients who have been diagnosed with the following: Neurological conditions (e.g. multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, spinal cord injury, stroke) Traumatic brain injury Huntingtons Disease Dementia
