Cawston Park is an independent Psychiatric Hospital, caring for adults suffering from mental illness and detained under the Mental Health Act, often with a history of drug or alcohol abuse. We provide 53 low secure and open rehabilitation and recovery beds through three units; The Lodge, a mixed low secure unit; The Grange, a male only low secure unit and The Manor a mixed open unit. Set in 138 acres of Norfolk woodland and countryside, Cawston Park is an ideal tranquil location for those often caught up in the social and economic pressures of an urban environment. We encourage patients to take on a healthy lifestyle and engage in the ADL (Associated Daily Living) programme primarily facilitated by our Occupational Therapy staff, whereby patients are taught the skills they will need to use when they are living in the community. Referrals are welcome from the NHS, Social Services, the Courts and HM Prison Services. Urgent assessments can be carried out within 24 hours.
