We are a Social Enterprise providing accessible sport and leisure holidays for the visually impaired/partially blind/blind and people with limited mobility/wheelchair. Seable gives you the chance to conduct a tailor made holiday that improves confidence and skills for life, challenging perceptions of disability and blindness. It consists of personal and powerful programmes that address your physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs. Holidays that provide you the knowledge, skills, tools and confidence to transform your challenges into possibilities. We work in association with accessible providers of travel-related products and services. In particular, with the Sicilian charity LIFE (Life Improvement For Everyone). This charity has developed a number of accessible activities that have proved to enhance your holiday experience while gaining new skills. The activities includes: - Diving course with final certificate (HSA) VALID WORLDWIDE - 4x4 Driving in Europe’s Highest Active Volcano : Mount Etna - Fishing with the local Sicilian fishermen, using the traditional techniques - Make your own Mediterranean olive oil. - Visit the Tactile Museum and the Sensorial-Botanic Garden, the only one in Europe tailor-made in Europe for blind people - and many more... Among these mindblowing activities, the charity has a portfolio of achievements that includes: -2 Guinness World records (2007&2009) in deep sea diving, done by a paraplegic man reaching 59 meters underwater and by a blind girl reaching 41 meters underwater.
