The truth is that everyone can improve their public speaking dramatically, and ensure they get their message across in an engaging way. Although there is no ‘one best way’ to present, there are lots of things that go towards making a great speaker from intonation, strategic pausing, hand gestures, pacing, posture and even the way you interact with the audience. In addition there are many common pitfalls which can easily be avoided with a little coaching. Either way – whether you are looking for help preparing for a specific event, or would just like to improve your presenting skills in general, I can offer 1:1 (or group) tuition to help you turn that weakness into a strength. We can cover public speaking in general, or focus on a particular area such as any of the following: • Dealing with fear and nerves • How to prepare and rehearse • Opening and closing a presentation • Manner of speaking • Presenting with or without supporting slides • How to take questions from an audience Tuition location is flexible and in many cases takes place at the client’s home (within the London area). About me – I work for a large financial institution as a communications specialist, and am experienced in coaching senior leaders to communicate with impact. Rates are charged per hour at £50 for the first, and £30 for each additional hour.
