Commission a wonderful and unique gift or keepsake of a much loved furry friend! Originally from a farm in North Yorkshire, I now live in the picturesque village of Lymm in Cheshire. I find a lot of inspiration from nature when I am out walking my dog. I have been passionate about art since I was very young, following the subject through school and art college. I have also always been a great animal lover and used to enjoy sketching my pet dogs. Then a few years ago I painted a portrait of my friend’s dog as a gift. She was so pleased with the painting, and to my surprise a flood of orders followed from other animal lovers. So I decided to start out as a professional artist, and I haven’t looked back since. The process is simple, all you need to do is send me a good clear photo, either by email or post. If you have several pictures that is be better so I can get a real feel for the animal’s character. All hard copy photos will be returned with the final portrait. I work in either pencil on high quality cartridge paper, or acrylic paints on linen textured acrylic paper, panel canvas or box canvas depending on your preference. For non-canvas pieces a mount is included ready to be displayed in a frame. Prices start from £25 for a pencil drawing and £45 for an acrylic painting. Please allow up to 3 weeks for your unique commission to be completed. If your order is more urgent please get in touch and I will see what I can do. Once complete your portrait will be packaged safely and posted by recorded delivery. I am confident that you will love your portrait, but if you are not completely satisfied I can offer a refund.
