Streamside Holistic Treatments

Streamside is a specialised holistic treatment space for the aleviation of pain, melancholia and hot flushes associated with the MENOPAUSE. Originally working with muscular problems in the neck, shoulders and back, John Edwarde gradually noticed that many of his clients'' problems were hormonal in origin and he kept a watchful eye for news of research which proved the connection he felt existed between a holistic approach to massage regimes and the well being of women going through the menopause. The results of a defining trial were published in 2011 and John replicates exactly the oils and massage regime used to bring relief to his clients. Treatments are offered twice each day and remedial techniques for muscular dysfunction may be added to the holistic regime when appropriate. John invites clients to make their treatments part of a very relaxing short break in a lovely part of Wales. Brechfa village has hills and forests just outside it; huge sandy beaches are 35 minutes drive away. Streams gurgle just outside your treatment room. Partners are welcome and will be taught some of the treatment techniques if they wish to learn. This will help once you have left Streamside. Alternatively bring a friend who also wishes to receive treatments. Discount is available for bookings which are made Monday to Friday. Book the five days and pay for only four. Accommodation is available across the road at a lovely award winning boutique hotel, or enquire about bed and breakfast in the village. All accommodations can be booked on your behalf. John Edwarde qualified in 2006 through the Association of Professional and Natural Therapists, a member organisation of the BCMA. He has practised in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire and Dorking, Surrey.
