Burgh Stonemasonry are a local based company with a wealth of experience in building conservation for commercial and private clients. We pride ourselves on our growing reputation of providing a quality service for all elements of stone restoration, conservation and building works to the highest standards. Established in 2001 by Paul Tracey who himself has 32 years experience in the field of masonry conservation and restoration. Paul served his time with W&JR Watsons and then went on to work for William Gerard’s Stonemasons, including the position of stonemasonry lecturer at Edinburghs Telford College. From listed buildings to world heritage sites, our craftsmen and restoration experts have delivered exceptional results on a variety of projects throughout Scotland, including churches, bridges, period properties to smaller privately owned properties and Edinburgh’s traditional tenements and townhouses. Our team of qualified skilled craftsmen are trained to carry out traditional time proven repairs to the historic built environment, working with stone, lime renders and harling, plasters and lime wash/paints.
