There are times when we all need to talk to someone, so together we can take the time to make sense of your experiences. I will provide you with an affordable, caring and safe counselling and psychotherapy service.

I am an Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist and founder of WDCounselling, with practices located within south west London (SW18 – Southfields/Wimbledon) and central London (WC1 – Euston)

I am a professionally trained and registered member of the British Association of Counselling Psychotherapy (MBACP). To maintain professional standards, I attend regular clinical supervision and I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have more than seven years of experience as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, having worked in a secondary school, LGBT counselling agency, homeless hostel and a Bengali support centre.

In 2010 I was awarded a distinction for a Masters in Counselling & Psychotherapy, conducting qualitative research into male experiences of counselling and suicide.

I have also spent six years working in education, most recently providing training for a national family support charity, and before that working as a senior lecturer in law. Until 2008 I was a senior solicitor in a tier 1 law firm in the City.
