Antony Bridge is emerging as one of the country''s premier English plein air artists based in the gloureous Malvern Hills in the heart of England, his passions for plein air came from a childhood wanting to paint from life in the open air at an early age, having learnt to paint realism using the airbrush Antony went onto larger studio works, studying cloud formations which became popular with collectors across the UK and his other collectors in Africa, Monaco and the US. in 2008 Antony set the challenge to paint outside in the open air each day and managed to paint for over 600 days in all weathers. Inspired by Turner, Seago, hockney, and many of the other past plein air painters, his aim is to increase the size of his work over the next years whilst on location. Using his pochade box, a piece of art equipment he has brought back and started to sell online across the world on pochade.co.uk.
