Located at the centre of the Norfolk Broads, equidistant between Norwich and Great Yarmouth, with beaches less then 20 minutes away. Close to the river Bure, for those who want to try sailing or boating . A beautiful area loved by walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, and anglers. If you come by car, we have parking spaces available. If not , Acle has a rail station, buses and daily coaches. A number of good walks come through Acle, including The Weavers Way. If you like to cycle we have a place for you to keep your bikes and do repairs etc. We have two good size guest rooms, both tastefully furnished with King size beds and en-suite shower rooms, with double size luxury showers. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and fully equipped - including flat screen TV’s with free-view, tea and coffee making facilities, a silent fridge, radio alarm, Ipod docking and wireless internet is available. A breakfast room and comfortable lounge, leading to an outside patio area , is provided for the use of guests. We can provide early morning breakfast for those making an early start. On request we can cater for packed lunches or picnics (at extra cost). A complimentary homemade cake will be on offer for guests to enjoy with their afternoon or evening tea or coffee. Check-in is from 16.30 – 19.00. Early or late check-ins can be arranged in advance. Check-out is by 10.00 (11.00 on Sundays). This room is on the ground floor and has french doors into our 5 acre garden. The Orchard Room has twin beds and an ensuite shower room. We pride ourselves on offering handmade beds, 100% Eygptian cotton bedlinen and oak furniture. All our bread and preserves are homemade and our bacon and sausages and sourced from a local award winning butcher. We provide packed lunches on request, ideal for those on cycling or walking holiday. We are located less than 1 mile from National Cycle Route 1. A warm welcome awaits.
