Rates are £4.50 an hour (+ pick up fees) meals are optional.

Hello there, we’re James and Kirsty, we’re both super fun childminders for busy mummies and daddies in Brighton. We provide seriously good quality childcare and believe in good old fashioned family values, leaning through play and yummy wholesome organic food. We’re a little older and wiser – although we don’t like to talk about that and we certainly are not over the hill yet. What it does mean, is that we really understand parenting worries and, while we can’t stop them, we can help. Of course, every parent knows what’s best for their child. We understand no one can look after your child better than you. That’s why we work together with you to ensure that your child has a great day every day when they are at Bright Young Things. We’re not what you might called run of the mill childminders. We swapped our designer suits, media glasses and stress filled weeks, for groovy jeans covered in paint, play dough and days filled with smiles and laughter We have all the usual qualifications like paediatric first aid, Early Years Foundation Training, Food Hygiene and we’re both super busy studying for our NVQ level 3 in Children''s Care, Learning and Development. As super busy parents ourselves we have oodles of experience and know exactly how to help, its one of the reason we came to be childminders - we''re here to help. We have stacks of certificates, lots of marketing ones and of course loads Childminding ones too… + We are Ofsted registered childminders + We are studying for the Diploma in Home-Based Childcare Level 3 + We also attend all other courses relevant to my profession + We hold current and up to date Pediatric First-Aid cirtificates + We hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificates We''re busy studying for our NVQ level 3 in Children''s Care, Learning and Development - wont be long now! Spaces available, but please ring us to check We understand that busy mummies and daddies need to go to work or have a well earnt rest, so we are flexible. We''re also just a hop and a skip from Brighton Station... Our hours of work are 8.00am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday For children under 5 yrs old we offer places for whole days. You are welcome to join us for 2,3 or 5 days a week. For school drop offs and pick ups we can supply a hearty breakfast and a fun trip to school in the mornings. Followed by a prompt pick up in the afternoon, fun chill out time and a home cooked supper. School holiday places are available too. Prices are available upon request All orgainic food and outings are included in the cost
