Isle of Wight Training Ltd, is an Island based company that was initially formed as First Aid Services in April 2012. The Company was founded by Ian Wright a Health Care Professional (HCP) registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (ODP16614). Ian has had over 12yrs experience working for the National Health Service (NHS) as a HCP, where he specialised in being part of the Anaesthetic team. This involved him being part of the Adult, Obstetric, Paediatric and Trauma emergency teams. During Ian’s time in the NHS he also specialised in the transfer of the Critically Ill patients and pre – hospital care. Ian has over 18yrs experience in training both adults and children and recently gained his Certificate in Education (Cert Ed). Over the last ten years Ian has also been a clinical educator in the NHS which involved training other health care professionals. Initially First Aid Services was formed to give the Nursing Homes, Care Homes and Domiciliary Care Providers on the Island the opportunity to have the same level of training as there NHS counter parts at a fraction of the cost. But since then First Aid Services has expanded its Ofqual portfolio of courses available and can now provide over thirty Ofqual regulated courses ranging from. The “Level 1 Entry Level Awards” to “Level 5 Diplomas in Higher Education”. With this expansion First Aid Services has rebranded to form “Isle of Wight Training Ltd” This now gives us a universal trading name more relevant to local Businesses, Organisations and Charities looking for training as we now no longer just provide health care training, but are still able to offer the cheapest work related training on the Island.
