The Crossfield Stringed Instruments was set up to offer Luthier services to the general public. Our work includes making hand made stringed instruments such as Custom Guitars and Mandolins. Bespoke inlays and undertaking all forms of repair and instrument setup work. We offer a bespoke service of making and repairing custom Guitars, Mandolins and other instruments whilst discussing with our customers to understand their actual needs in terms of preferred materials (woods, bindings, finish and inlay), preferred instrument style and playing style to ensure the final instrument is set up to match the actual bespoke preferences of the individual player.
