IBT Travel were founded in 1986 and originally operated day and weekend trips to the Cairngorms in Scotland. At this point the company operated the largest volume of vehicles to the Scottish ski slopes of any operator in the UK, however due to the demise of the snow conditions in the 1990's it was clear that our customer base was demanding new horizons and experiences of skiing in Europe. So our directors re-focused their attention on developing specialised school ski trips to Europe. Now 25 years later with the two original Directors in charge IBT has evolved into one of the UK's leading tour operators with an extensive winter programme and an equally strong European educational division.
