It is run for patients whatever level of their sport or fitness to receive treatment and rehabilitation standards previously only benefitted by elite sportsmen and women. The Sports Injury Specialist can help with many physical problems, sport related or not these may include achilles problems, ligament sprains, athritis, back pain, bad posture, cartilage problems, cramp, injured tendons, headaches, knee pain, muscle imbalance, neck pain, post op-rehab, shin splints, shoulder pain, stiff joints, tennis elbow, trapped nerves, whiplash and more.... Sports massage sessions are also provided for a therapeutic experience and the purpose of injury prevention and it can also aid in weight loss. Adeleine Blackman has undertaken a three year degree in Sports Therapy at Chichester University and she has several years experience of working with elite and amateur athletes in the busy Injury Clinic. Adeleine is a full member of the Society of Sports Therapists. In order to protect the public and maintain her professional status The Sports Injury Specialist has an obligation to uphold continuous studies in the field of Sports Therapy. Clinics are run from Images Fitness Centre in Yeovil and Crewkerne Aqua Centre. Adeleine also works on a mobile basis local to Somerset and in a large company.
