Strong, effective Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) offering counselling that is solution focussed. I offer a warm, secure and open therapeutic relationship coupled with rational, structured CBT tools and skills. Whilst it can sometimes be helpful to understand where our problems came from, that understanding may not be enough, in itself, to free us from their influence. Working together as a team, we will draw a 360 degree view of the current problem and devise a strategy for change that draws on your current strengths. CBT is clinically proven to be at least as effective as anti-depressants making it the therapy of choice for the NHS without the need for long-term medication.
