My name is Ffion and I am a baby massage and baby yoga instructor, fully certified and accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. I run classes in and around Newport and Torfaen, South Wales. I provide classes in small groups or one on one in the privacy of your own home. Baby Massage is a 5 week course, where you will learn all over baby body massage that can help with sleeping issues, colic, and even teething pain. It is a fantastic opportunity for you and baby to bond and spend some special one on one time together, where you will learn to read babies cues and forget the stresses of every day life. Baby Yoga helps to release the blockages of tension in the body. It offers similar benefits to baby massage, but it also helps improve posture and is physical stimulation for baby - strengthening the spine and encouraging the development of supple, healthy joints and a range of movements. Baby yoga classes are usually undertaken as a follow on to completing the baby massage course. This is because it is generally aimed at slightly older infants, but there is no prerequisite and courses are open to any baby that is a minimum of 8 weeks old.
