I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist providing face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples in the Reading and Wokingham area. I am accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and abide by their Ethics and Code of Conduct. I am fully insured and have regular supervision. As well as having a private practice I have spent the last five years working in the NHS. I have also worked as a volunteer counsellor in a youth counselling agency. I have helped individuals with a wide range of issues including: * Depression (including postnatal depression) * Stress management * Anxiety, panic attacks and phobias * Relationship and family problems * Career and personal development issues * Effects of childhood abuse * Posttraumatic stress disorder * Bereavement * Addictions / substance abuse * Low self esteem / lack of confidence * Self harm * Anger management * Eating disorders * Trichotillomania (recurrent hair pulling) & other impulse control disorders.
