Liam Watson left Queen Elizabeth High School and he began a full time job at The Wellington in Riding Mill. He worked his way up from his Part Time Position as a Pot Washer when he was 15 years old to Duty manager. Liam then went to work at Matfen Hall as the Conservatory Bar Manager and again worked his way up to Duty Manager. He was the youngest Duty Manager Matfen Hall had ever employed.He enjoyed his work and gained valuable experience. However his desire to have his own business led him to make the difficult decision to leave Matfen Hall and set up Hexhams first Milkshake Bar ''Shake''n''. This was opened in Otober 2009 and he has since gone on to open another ''Shake''n'' in Chester- Le-Street in June 2010. Liam has won Tynedale Young Business Man of The Year Award and Tynedale Business Start Up Award on behalf of Shake''n. All this and he is still only 21 years old. Both shops offer a huge range of flavours of Milkshakes inluding Marmite, Maltesers,Cereals, bisuits, cakes, Love Hearts, Wham Bars, Aero, Galaxy, After Eight,Reeces Peanut Butter Cups,Walnut Whip and many more. They also do Smoothies, Slush, Hot Shakes, Latte, Cappuccino, Tea, Cookies and Hotdogs.
