I offer tuition for A-level Physics and Science at GCSE and Key Stage 3. I have 30 years of teaching experience which includes time as Instructor Officer in the Royal Navy and both in both state and independent schools. My Ph.D. research was an experimental study of "High Temperature Superconductors" (mainly using neutron scattering at large facilities in the UK and France). I am a member of the Institute of Physics (MInstP) and a Chartered Physicist (CPhys). I hold an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate and am also insured to tutor. I have also taught ICT, GCSE Electronics, GCSE Astronomy and some parts of A-Level Further Maths (mechanics modules). I would be happy discuss helping with these subjects if required. Please contact me with your requirements and my current rates. I am happy to travel to you (within about 16 miles of Southam, Warwickshire) but equally happy to tutor you at my address. I am also able to offer on-line tuition if it is more convenient or just too far for travel to be practical. I have wider availability on weekdays during school holidays.
