Chiltern Home Services was set up at the end of 2009 by Richard Hartley. Following a degree in Electrical Engineering, Richard embarked on a career in the broadcast television technology business. Like many industries, the business went through the turmoil of recession in the eighties, nineties and, most recently, 2008-09. On this occasion, Richard decided it was time for a new challenge outside the increasingly cut-throat corporate world. Richard has always enjoyed practical work and has always been something of a perfectionist. He has honed his skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general home refurbishment over the last forty years or so. Whether you require someone to help with some decoration, build a stud partition, or take on a bathroom project, Richard has the experience to take it on and provide a quality, affordable job
