About me: I have been into Djn now for over 2 years, i express my love for music is on the decks and this is portrayed visually to the crowd. I stick to banging beats and dont mind playing commercial tunes along with well known re-mixes. I use the mixer to its full extent playing about with the effects and cutting and bringing back the beat ................................................. I started off bedroom mixing and recently decided that i was ready to start in a club environment by entering a Dj competition, this proved as a good start for me as I went through to the semi finals in my heat (Electro). Since then I have felt I had enough confidence to push myself to doing sets at local clubs, recently helping a new club event launch party in Bournemouth. ................................................. I mainly mix Electro house at the moment and also have a selection of progressive house, also currently mixing/experimenting with darker underground genres of Tech house and Minimal ................................................. I dont just play songs and mix, its a journey... its like a musical story i guess. I am very picky with the tracks I play, I can go through 100''s and pick out 3 worthy of my play list. I like to chop, loop and love the effects, mixing vocals of one song over the next track, bringing in the basslines and cutting them out. You cant beat the feeling of when your in a mix and you drop a bassline of a known song and the crowd goes mental!! Just looking to fuel my Dj''ing needs!
