Cheeky Claws provides a dedicated cat sitting service in Harrogate, Knaresborough and the surrounding area. Cheeky Claws does not provide a pet sitting service for all companion pets, Cheeky Claws focuses on those they know best – cats. This means that clients have the peace of mind of knowing that someone who loves and understands cats is taking care of their cat when they’re not able to do it. Cheeky Claws follows the quality standards for excellence in pet sitting recommended by Pet Sitters International. Cheeky Claws are covered by specialist pet sitting insurance, are Criminal Records Bureau checked and Home Office national security cleared. Clients can rest assured that their home and cat are in the hands of someone who is responsible, reliable and trustworthy. Cheeky Claws can do single visits at short notice, ad-hoc visits every now and then or Cheeky Claws can help with a more regular, longer term arrangement. Cheeky Claws can visit your cat (or cats) once or twice a day. During visits, Cheeky Claws will feed your cat(s), provide fresh water, clean litter trays, let your cat in and out of your house (if necessary), groom them, cuddle and play with them. Cheeky Claws can also help your home look ‘lived in’ whilst you’re away by opening and closing curtains, bringing in mail, putting out rubbish etc. Cheeky Claws can even water house plants too. Cheeky Claws also provides a taxi service to take your cat to the vet or grooming parlour and back again. Cheeky Claws has an expanding customer base made up of private clients and individuals (and their cats of course) living in Harrogate, Knaresborough and the surrounding area and villages. Cheeky Claws is run by Sue Hartley who has been passionate about cats who she has shared her life with for the past 30 years. Previous experience of fostering cats on a voluntary basis and looking after cats for neighbours, work colleagues, family and friends led Sue to indulge her love of cats further by studying animal behaviour and by starting her own business, Cheeky Claws, taking care of cats for other people. Sue is a student member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour.
