DFR motorsport has been opened in Skipton, by David Fitzgerald. In his 30 years in motorsport he has worked alongside a range of teams, from WRC to private clients every step of the way from building to maintaining and on-event support. Most recently (2006-2010) preparing historic rally cars for the BHRC championship including Tour Britannia. Current projects include a Sprint/Hillclimb 911, A Caterham R500 superlight, A Toyota Corolla 4AGE Rally Car And the Re-Prep of last years Tour Britannia Winning 911 for this years event in June. The company now specialises in the preparation and maintenance of historic cars, including: - Porsche 911 - Ford Cortina/Escort MkI/II - Metro 6R4 - AC Bristol - Renault Alpine - Although we specialise in historic competition cars, we are more than happy as well as capable to provide the same service for any car.
