West Yorkshire Walkies aims to be Huddersfield’s premier Dog Walking and Pet Care Service. With our passion for pets and our love of the great outdoors we give your dog the walk you really want them to have. From an energetic hour across the moors to a leisurely lap of the park, we offer your pet a healthy, happy walk catered to their age, size and ability. Our Home Visits and Doggy Day Care service offer you the peace of mind that your pets are getting the care, companionship and exercise they need, when you can’t be there. Based in the Colne Valley, we cater for all Dogs, Cats and small pets throughout the Huddersfield area, with a dedicated, reliable and flexible service. Whether you’re working, on holiday, unwell or just need a rest, we will look after your pets as if they were our own, outdoors, in your home, or in ours. West Yorkshire Walkies offers an alternative to kennels and catteries, which although may offer an excellent service, are not ideal for every pet. Especially those who are used to sharing the sofa with their owners every night. There is now a huge demand for knowledgeable, dedicated pet sitters. I will be offering the following services as a pet sitter: • Dog walking • Pet day care • Pop in visits • Overnight pet sitting • Pet boarding • Puppy home visits • Pet taxi service About Us We are husband and wife (to be) team Chris and Ellie and we love West Yorkshire! We met 12 years ago at Huddersfield University and have made Huddersfield our home together. We both come from pet mad families and have been bought up on long walks and fresh air. West Yorkshire Walkies has enabled us to combine these two passions and to share them with you and your pets. Chris runs the business full time and will be the friendly wind swept face at the door when it’s time for Walkies. Ellie works for a local Textile company and will be helping with the admin and bookings...and cat cuddles. Together we promise a dedicated, reliable and flexible local service.
