APRIL2ND is a fashion label specializing in ready-to-wear and bespoke collection. APRIL2ND was founded by Ty, who has been a personal shopper since high school and also inspired her sister fashion sense. Ty studied fashion design at Kingston University; also attended fashion courses at Fashion and Textile Museum. Her first collection was launched in September 2012 during London Fashion Week. Ty’s vision for her label is to create clothes that are both luxurious and wearable, with a feminine but uncomplicated beauty about them. Her touch is especially sophisticated – modern but never cold, fantastic but always fresh. She skilfully manages the combination of refinement and sensuality, with exceptional fabrics and highly perfected print detail. She strives to make fashion that is timeless in its elegance. She embodies and infuses into her work what it means to live a present-day fearless life. She always considers what will work with a thoughtful person at this moment, and to Ty, this moment is about beauty without formality.
