York String Ensemble is Yorkshire''s finest string quartet. We perform at weddings and events throughout York, Harrogate, Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Hull, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and across North and North East England. Through continual innovation and the highest standards of performance, we are certain we can create for you the right atmosphere for your wedding or event. Our string repertoire contains over 950 pieces from Vivaldi to Lady Gaga, giving you probably the largest collection in Britain to choose from. We pride ourselves on giving your event that extra sparkle, ensuring it is remembered for many years to come! Our players have many years combined experience performing at wedding ceremonies and corporate events at many venues around Britain; including the London Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Barbican Centre, Claridges, The Royal Albert Hall and many more. We are regular performers with the BBC Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra, Opera North, Halle, Montepulciano Orchestra and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
