Due to open September 2016. We offer an exciting and unique opportunity for your children to experience freedom to learn in the outdoors. Our days will be filled with activities and play that is led by the children's interests and innate curiosity. Our outdoor approach to learning allows children to learn to manage their own risks and challenges, supported by professional early years practitioners who will enhance their learning opportunities. We have a much higher staff to child ratio than the legal guidelines, and our nursery is ran by highly qualified, experienced staff. Daffodils Outdoor Nursery are proud to be the first Outdoor Nursery in the Northamptonshire/Leicestershire area. We have a rural location just 3.8 miles from Market Harborough and 2 miles from Desborough: the adventure is closer than you think! We promote the long established philosophies of the Scandinavian Forest Kindergartens. Children explore, learn and develop in the outdoors whatever the weather! Research shows, that time spent outdoors has a positive effect on children's health. As parents ourselves, we support this and it is therefore our aim to spend at least 80 percent of our day in the outdoor environment when possible. We also have an amazing indoor space for cosy winter story times or yummy tea times around a table. What we will get up to!
