Nikki McAuslan at butterfly has seven years experience as a therapist, working with children, adults and groups. She also offers training and other specialised services, including a unique school based therapy service, which has been incredibly successful in almost 30 schools. Nikki is an integrative therapist, which means that she is qualified in several models of counselling and psychotherapy, meaning that she will tailor your therapy to meet your individual needs as a client to ensure that you get the best and quickest service possible. As well as traditional talking methods, if it is appropiate, Nikki may also use art and play techniques in order to help you gain insight to your issue; to change or manage unwanted behaviours, thoughts or feelings or to help you move forward on something that is troubling you. There is no issue that is too large or small for therapy, and though talking to someone can seem like a scary way forward, please be assured that Nikki will never judge you, your experiences or your choices. She am here to help you get through a difficult time. Nikki initially trained as a counsellor before completing a degree in pyschology. She has a Post Graduate Diploma and Post Graduate Certificate in Integrative Psychotherapy and is currently undertaking her Masters Degree in Psychotherapy. Nikki is a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
