Gilboys - Fine Furniture Restoration : established by Simon Gilboy early in 1993 after completing a 4 year indentured apprenticeship in French Polishing at Staverton Joinery, then owned by Dartington Trust. With a further 2 years full-time study at college. The business has grown over the years and is established in a 2,000sq. ft. workshop & Showrooms close to the Riverford Farm Shop in Staverton. Now employing a team of professional experienced restorers and polishers which includes a traditional upholstery workshop. Our services include : yacht interior refinishing - long-case clock repair - dining chair repairs - french polishing - gilded picture frame restoration - woodworm treatment - on site polishing - heat-proof finishes for dining tables. OPENING HOURS Monday - Friday 8.45 - 5.30 .
