A traditional and dynamic Japanese martial art, Aikido works through the application of technique rather than strength and so can be practised by anyone regardless of age or size. An effective method of self defence, Aikido is also a great way for you to stay fit, build confidence and make new friends. We offer Children and Adult classes 5 days per week with specialised 6 week Beginners courses which will teach people with no experience and varying degrees of fitness, the initial basic techniques and principles of Yoshinkan Aikido. Completion of the course will allow beginners to feel safe, comfortable and confident in joining our Regular classes.
