David Hawley has over 15 years experience as a counsellor.He trained principally with Spectrum (Centre for Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy) and the Gestalt Centre (London).He has an MA in gender and sexuality from Birkbeck College (University of London) and has specialist knowledge, and 8 years experience, of gender identity issues.He has undertaken over 12 years of personal development work, which he considers to be an essential part of his training. He''s committed to ongoing training as a means to maintain, deepen and expand his skill and take time out each year to attend professional training workshops, conferences and seminars. Currently his focus is on Relational Gestalt as well as a continuing interest in gender identity and transgender issues.
